This is a Prestige caravan with decking - the decking has table and chairs for enjoying the fantastic views. The cushions are kept dry in the outside storage box – please do not leave these out in the rain. The caravan is fully central heated and double glazed.
Bedding – there are quilts and pillows provided in the van along with bath mats and hand towels – all you need to bring with you is: Bath towels, quilt covers, sheets, pillow cases.
The beds can be 2 x doubles or 1 Double and 2 x singles there is also a pull out bed in the lounge. The 2nd bedroom is usually 2 x singles but if you require it to be made into a double bed then just let us know at the booking stage.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING IN THE VAN AS WE ARE NON SMOKERS!
We will allow responsible dog owners to bring their pets under the agreement that the pets are not allowed on the sofas or chair or any of the beds - out of respect for other hirers that do not have pets. When we had our dog we always brought her bed if we were taking her on holiday or to our caravan so that she had something familiar and comfortable to lie on. She loved the walks around the park or along the beach.
Rules of the Park:
The occupants of the caravan must be 21 and over. Park Patrol do not allow loud noise that could affect other caravans nearby. All rubbish to be disposed of within the large bins provided nearby and not left outside caravans. All pets must be kept on a leash whilst walking in the park and all dog waste must be picked up and disposed of.
Seton Sands Caravan park (a Haven Holidays site) boasts an indoor swimming pool, Restaurant, kids club and family clubhouse with entertainment during the season. PASSES are required to use the facilities - these need to purchased from Haven at reception - we do not supply passes.There is a supermarket and local chip shop also on site. Local takeaways will also deliver to site - menus in caravan. There is a 9 hole golf course on the site also.
To go further afield is no problem as buses run regularly throughout the day and evening from the site going via Port Seton and Musselburgh etc to Edinburgh city centre. You can enjoy an exciting day at the races (Musselburgh Racecourse is nearby) or pop into Port Seton for drinks and lunch or dinner or explore the fantastic historical city of Edinburgh - - - -
Famous for its variety of designer shops, cafes, art galleries, museums, ghost & historical walks. Edinburgh has it all and more! Take a wander down the Grass Market or up to Grey Friars Bobby or investigate the Castle! Choose one of the many many restaurants that abound to suit all tastes. In August enjoy the amazing Edinburgh Festival famous for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and eclectic entertainment that carries on all day and well into the wee small hours - a memory never to forget! The choice is all yours.
Nearby at East Fortune is the Sunday Market which is next to the Museum of Flight where Concorde can be boarded! There are several Golf courses in the area for the keen golfer. Or just chillout in the caravan and call the local restaurants nrby in Port Seton or Prestonpans who will deliver right to the door! There are a host of things to see and do for all the family which is why this really is a holiday for everyone!
